rebecca in a nutshell..

Hello friends! I’m Rebecca here at Rebecca Gray Yoga, but since we are friends, you can call me Becky.

I'm a yoga practitioner, a forever yoga student, and a yoga teacher. I am inspired daily by my fellow teachers and the unique communities of students at every studio and place I teach.

After more than a decade (and counting) of working as a bio-archaeologist, I’ve used my anatomy knowledge to shape a practice that weaves together a variety of movements as well as yogic schools of thought. I seek to hold space without judgment or expectation.

I believe yoga should be accessible to all and has no defined shape, aesthetic or visual value. Yoga should feel good, in your body and your mind. Does not matter what it looks like to the outside world.

I live in North Bay, ON with my partner, my family and my two canine companions. I have a deep love of outdoor anything, cheesy fantasy shows and singing!

Credentials:

  • RYT-200 Registered Yoga Alliance Teacher

“Your body exists in the past and your mind exists in the future. In yoga, they come together in the present. ”
